Artist Statement Art is my one true passion. I picked up a set of pastels a few years ago, and fell in love with the medium. The luminescence is spectacular, and lends itself very well to both landscape and portraiture. I would say I am primarily a portrait artist, and do accept commissions. I have completed several portaits for various clients, and take joy in delivering a piece that truly expresses the personality of the subject.

Landscape painting is a fairly new pursuit, and one that has me totally engaged. The landscapes I paint are both real, and imaginary. Living in New England there is no shortage of beautiful places just screaming to be painted.

I am a current member of the Monadnock Area Artists Association, and exhibit regularly at the Colony Mill Marketplace in Keene, NH.
